The black on black is very versatile but is somewhat impractical if you're trying to read what time it is when its too dark to see hands but not dark enough for the luminescence to help. I have scuba dived with this watch and that worked just fine. My major complaint and reason for rating this '3 stars' is that this watch KEEPS FALLING APART. It's never been an expensive repair, but it's a pain to go to local jewelers all the time - mine keeps breaking where the steel wristband connects to the bezel frame. The jewelers say that they pins wear out over time, but I've been going through this process once every 1-2 months. Also, when the watch came in the mail (new), it had scratches to the black finish of the stainless steel watch band. Overall, a good looking but not very functional watch. My philosophy now is to buy a good cheap watch (like a G-shock or maybe a Swiss Army), otherwise save up for good watches that are actually made well (Tag,...
