I was deeply in love with it. So, I am waiting anxiously for the watch to come.... Then it's here. So excited. I open it, and it does not work free the very first aeveral hours of first wind. Pissed and in dismay. I will be returning to sender, and requesting a replacement. I still love this time piece, it is absolutely beautiful. Heavy, and solid. I am willing to give it a second go. The design and quality of this watch for the price it is offered at is astonishing it really is heavy-duty quality you can just feel its durability when you put it on. Ive worn it only once so far and the compliments were non-stop, everyone just assumed this was a priceless watch due to its look. Having it adjusted is a little complex for the jeweler I went to but that was alright, im patient. After reviewing Invicta's solid 1437 divewatch I was curious about the rest of their line. So when I saw the chance to review another Invicta watch, I jumped at it.Let me start by saying the 1258 is a gorgeous watch. (My wife called it "sexy.") Really striking. The pictures don't do it justice. Aside from being able to see the gears, the back of the case is transparent, so you can see all the way through. Also, the non-moving portion of the interior, which is gold, has an intricate design etched on its surface. The exterior bezel is also gold, but unlike the 1437 model, this bezel rotates completely. (Useful when diving!) Of course, being able to see the inner workings means there is no visible face with numbers here. (Watches are primarily about telling time, after all, right?) This lack is diminished by a 60-second subdial that lies between the bezel and the gears. The numbers are a bit smallish on the subdial, but for someone who needs to give exact time,... Read more |
