It is accurate, well-made and truly an attention getter. The front and back crystals are high quality synthetic, keeping the price affordable. It is remarkably clear and perfectly polished. I fear that regular wear and incidental damage may eventually scratch the crystal, and I'm not sure as to the availability of replacements. As any true skeleton watch should be, this bad boy is a hand winder, and the "ticking" is not too loud for those unaccustomed to such a thing.My only complaint is that the manufacturer chose to pair this lovely watch with a band that more closely resembles cured roadkill than leather. Really, the band is ugly as hell. Fortunately, it is a standard size, and my local watch-shop was able to make the switch to something more appropriate for this time piece. Its a great watch, looks fantastic on the wrist, and is reasonably priced for the wow factor it brings. Good work Akribos...
