I only give out 5 stars if I can't find anything substantive to criticize. This is my first Diesel. Only drawbacks here are legibility and thickness.

A few observations: It's a nice looking watch, thicker than I was expecting - a good 12mm - which makes it look a tad awkward IMO, protruding from the wrist. Gotta lash it down tight to compensate. Face + bezel is a good 47mm from side to side, but it doesn't look much oversized because the strap is nice and wide - almost 1" wide - complementing the fat face.

The leftmost and bottom subdial are a stopwatch. Left is the minutes elapsed and bottom is seconds elapsed. Hit the reset button and the hands unwind however many rotations it takes to undo the time measured. Rightmost dial simply shows the 24-hour cycle.

Note the dial markings and hands are chromed, except the luminescent spots, which means you need reflected light to read the time. Not a problem outdoors, but indoors you might have to do some... Read more
