The watch is simply beautiful with the watch band complementing the charcoal face perfectly. The face catches the light and reflects it like a fine jewel so the picture cannot do this watch justice. The mineral crystal is super hardened, the movement is Japanese thin quartz and the band is stainless steel with a push-button release on either side. My wrist is about average so two links were removed for a perfect fit. The band does not allow for fine tuning, as the removable links are 1/4" wide. I set the time at 12:00 to insure that I was fully synchronized with the atomic clock. I recommend setting the time on the hour so that the movement can be set exactly. Since the initial setting, it has been keeping very accurate time. When the hour hand passes the center of the Skagen emblem at the top of the face I know the time to the second even without a second hand being present...
