I just got the band sized and can now start wearing the Invicta men's 1246 chronograph. Out of the box it is a big and heavy, but very sharp looking watch. It has the feel of the quality that Invicta is known for. So far it seems to keep time well. I'll stop back on this review and add in how it holds up to wear and whether or not it keeps accurate time, but so far I am very happy with it. I was sent this Invicta Men's 1246 Chronograph Black Dial watch by the Amazon Vine Program for review. Here's my take on it.The watch is classy looking. Advertised as having a blue and yellow face, it more accurately has a somewhat iridescent purple face with a blue-black second ring with yellow second markers. On the watch face itself are three sub dials, each with miniature black faces and white markers. At the three o'clock position is a second dial with a 1/10 second dial at the six o'clock position and a minute counter at the nine o'clock position. There's a date box displaying the day at the four o'clock position. The stainless steel case is large at 43mm with a textured edge. At the outside a dark blue ring shows the first fifteen seconds with yellow markers and the hour markers in white. On the right side of the case is a prominent crown flanked by two pushers which set the time, the sub-dials (two of which are part of the stopwatch feature) and operate... Normally I'll review a product after a few weeks of use to get a good idea of how it works and performs. I've only been wearing this watch a few days now, but I already have strong opinions about it. First of all, I've been wearing the same Fossil watch for about eight years now... it's all stainless steel, has three dials plus the face dial, weighs in at 3 ounces, and has a 1-3/8" face. The Invicta 1246 is extremely similar in the design, but it's basically a supersized version... weighing in at 6-1/2 ounces and sporting a 1-7/8" face. Wow, in comparison to my old watch, this thing is a monster.The watch comes in a very nice box that is quite impressive. First look at the watch, you would easily believe the $695 price tag that hangs on it (apparently some sort of gimmick, as I can't imagine even the MSRP being that high).
